I've ever read
have been written on the wall
of a public restroom
These poets aren't looking for recognition
or for money
They only want an audience
Most of these poems are about
drugs
or sex
or bowel movements
Emotion
Truth
they reek of it
How can we take
today's published poet seriously
When you can find
more ingenuity
more humanity
written on the walls
of the shithouse
