at 11 a.m.
on a hot
4th of july
hitting the
mostly
empty
stomach
of an
angry
old man
some call
a poet
is a
mighty
fearsome
sight to
behold
but don’t
take
my word
for it
just ask
around
and it’s
a sure
bet
he never
made
it to the
city
fireworks
display
that night
but did
nearly
end up
in a bar fight
with 2
neanderthals
40 years
younger
